About Dr. Phil Mongelluzzo
Philip Mongelluzzo Jr., MD., is a physician, author, and motivational speaker based in Waterbury, Connecticut. He has years of experience in the medical field, with an emphasis on helping people become the best and healthiest version of themselves. One of Phil’s most meaningful goals in life is teaching his patients and helping them understand prevention practices. Next Level Care CT is Phil’s newest initiative, founded in January 2023. Next Level Care CT is a Concierge Internal Medicine Practice designed to give patients easier access to their doctor and the specialized care they need.
Phil’s Medical Experience
Phil attended Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated in 1998 with a Doctor of Medicine. He received The Aesculapian Student Humanitarian Award for his class three times. Following his time at Creighton, Dr. Mongelluzzo attended Atlanta Medical Center for his first two years of his Primary Care Residency. He completed his third year of his Primary Care Residency at Yale University.
One of his first professional roles was with the Waterbury Board of Health. As a commissioner, he oversaw the city’s health-related issues and formulated health-focused plans. Other roles Phil has taken on include Director of Alternative Health Care (St. Mary’s Hospital), where he was responsible for overseeing the integration of Reflexology, Chiropractic Care, Reiki, and Energy Work with Allopathic Medicine.
In 2002, Phil founded Dr. Philip A. Mongelluzzo, Jr. LLC, which offered a wide variety of Allopathic and Alternative Health Care options for 17 years. In 2017, Philip founded Pulse4Pulse, LLC. Phil is still active in this organization as the CMO.

In 2008, Philip created ThirtySecondsToSuccess.com, a training seminar for the pharmaceutical industry with the goal of helping others improve their communication skills between sectors. This led directly to Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. publishing his first novel in 2015. It was titled “Achieving Health and Happiness with 30 Daily Doables.”

What is concierge healthcare?
Concierge healthcare is a membership-based healthcare program with an emphasis on personalized, accessible, and convenient care. Appointments are readily available in the office, by phone, by video call, or by house call. We accept a limited number of patients so each physician can spend adequate time with each patient’s appointment.
Does Next Level Care CT work with my current health insurance?
Yes, while Next Level Care CT is not part of a health insurance plan, HSA, or Medicare, your current health insurance can help pay the costs of prescriptions and medications, specialized testing, and referrals to other specialized medical practitioners.
How much does Next Level Care CT cost?
A membership for Next Level Care CT costs $2,200 annually or $183.33 per month.
Family Plan Memberships allow patients to add a spouse or partner for an additional $1,100 per year. Children aged 26 or younger would be covered as part of our Family Plan Membership.
What is microvascular testing?
Microvascular testing is a non-invasive technique that can be used to evaluate blood flow and vessel structure in small blood vessels.
Why is microvascular testing important?
Testing is often used to diagnose and monitor conditions, assess the risk of complications, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. It can also be used to assess the microvasculature in healthy individuals to establish a baseline and detect changes over time. Microvascular testing is an essential tool for maintaining vascular health and preventing or managing microvascular complications.
